Vincas embraces a real-person, docu-style aesthetic in his filmmaking whether it’s on the streets of NYC, a soundstage in LA, an abandoned church in Eastern Europe or the rainforests of Madagascar.
He started his career helming skate and snowboarding videos which combined the sports’ visceral excitement with the participants internal passion. He has gone on to shoot & edit projects all over the world which focus on real people’s real stories.
Vincas’ social consciousness has lead him to direct projects for an exiled University in Europe to a cutting edge NGO in Madagascar. This ethos was also behind the creation of his award winning feature length documentary - “The Invisible Front.”
Vincas’ style is influenced by his desire to capture subjects in a way which brings the viewer into their world.
